To be admitted into the programme, applicants must have one of the following:
A minimum of C plain at Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) or equivalent with a C or above in English or Kiswahili
Advanced (A) level or equivalent - 1 principal pass with a credit pass in English or Kiswahili at O - level
Ordinary level or equivalent grade B and above

Application Procedure
Applications for admission to Riara University should be made using official application forms, which may be collected from the office of the Academic Registrar or downloaded from www.riarauniversity.ac.ke/download.
All duly filled application forms should be returned with copies of relevant certificates and a personal statement attached. This should be accompanied by a nonrefundable application processing fee of Ksh. 2,000/= for Kenyan citizens and nationals of the East African Community. For international students, the application processing fee is Ksh. 4,000/=.

Students applying online may pay the fee by credit card or, alternatively, pay in the bank and attach the scanned bank deposit slip. Applications submitted by mail should include a banker’s cheque or money order, payable to Riara University.

All applicants for admission to Riara University will be assessed against the set entry criteria for each programme. Riara University application assessment methods will vary between courses, but may include: KCSE results, IGCSE/GCE/IB results.
