Entry Requirements
Admission Requirements To be admitted into the BSc program in the School Science and Technology, a candidate must: i. Meet the minimum University admission requirement. ii.Have passed the KCSE with a minimum average grade of C+ in the following cluster of subjects Biology,Chemistry,Physics,Geography or Mathematics OR Biological Sciences,Physical Sciences,Geography,Mathematics or any other group III Subject iii.Have satisfied the school-based cluster requirements which may change from time to time as may be approved by senate. A level with 2 principal passes in chemistry at O level or KNEC diploma in science or applied sciences or itseq uivalent from a recognized institution Eligible mature entrants will have either of the following qualifications: i. Candidates must have passed KCSE or equivalent with a minimum grade of C+ in the subject cluster. ii.KNEC Diploma holders or their equivalent recognized by University who meet the admission requirements are eligible for admission on credit transfer (pass into first, credit/distinction into second year.) iii. Candidates with equivalent qualifications as approved by senate may be considered.

Every applicant must submit the following items: A non-refundable application fee as per programme requirements Photocopies of school records: KCE/KACE/KCSE result slips and certificates, school leaving certificate and or diplomas transcripts and certificates or their equivalents of the above mentioned Originals of these and the national ID card must be presented at the time of initial registration Two recent passport size photographs with your name written on the back of each A fully completed student application form Three completed personal reference forms for postgraduate students
