Entry Requirements
The Common Regulations for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in all Faculties shall be applicable. The following shall be eligible for registration for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in the Population Studies Research Institute: A holder of Bachelor's degree of the University of Nairobi A holder of Master's degree of the University of Nairobi A candidate who has obtained a degree from another University, approved by senate as of comparable academic status A holder of Bachelor's degree of the University of Nairobi or A holder of a degree from another University approved by Senate may expect to be registered as a candidate for the Master's degree for initial period of fifteen months after which his registration may be upgraded to the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in accordance with the Common Regulations for Master's degrees in all Faculties
