Common regulations for the Master of Science Degree in the University of Nairobi and the School of Physical Sciences shall apply.
Holders of a B.Sc. degree with at least Second Class Honours (Upper Divsion) in Physics or a related subject from the University of Nairobi or any other institution recognized by the Senate.
Holders of a B.Sc. degree with as Second Class (Lower Division) in Physics or a related subject from the Univeristy of Nairobi or any other instituion recognized by the Senate with at least two years relevant research/work experience may be considered for admission.
Holders of a B.Sc. Pass level degree in Physics or a related subject from the University of Nairobi or any other institution recognized by the Senate with at least five years relevant research/work experience may be considered for admission.
In exceiptional cases, non-holders of a first degree may also be admited to the Masters program if on the basis of the research and academic work they have done show that they are qualified to undertake postgraduate work by passing qualifying examinations
