Entry Requirements

The regulations for the Masters Degree in the University of Nairobi and the Faculty of Medicine shall apply Candidates eligible for admission into the Master of Medicine in Ophthalmology programme shall have the following qualifications and characteristics: i)      Recognized MBCHB degree or its equivalent ii)     Successfully completed internship iii)    Must have stereoscopic vision iv)    Registrable with the Medical Practitioners and Dentists Board of Kenya In addition to provision of evidence of eligibility for admission, candidates may be required by the faculty to appear for an interview to determine their suitability for admission

  • Application Procedure

    Application forms are obtained from the UNES finance offices on payment of a non-refundable application fee of Kshs. 3000/= for Kenyan citizens and US$ 50 or its equivalent for non-Kenyan citizens. The application fees MUST be paid in Cash at any Barclays bank branch a/c no. 030-073-1023948 and the banking slip to be taken to UNES in Gandhi Wing Room G3 for issue of receipt before collection of the application forms. The completed forms accompanied with copies of degree certificates and academic transcripts are submitted to the Board of Postgraduate studies which is located at the main Campus on the ground floor of Gandhi Wing.
