Entry Requirements

   The Common Regulations for the Master of Medicine Degree at the University shall apply.The candidate eligible for admission into the program shall fulfill the following conditions: 1 Hold a basic medical degree i.e. Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) of the University of Nairobi, or an equivalent qualification from an institution recognized by Senate. 2 Candidates must possess evidence of registration or eligibility to be licensed by Medical Practitioners and Dentists Board for purposes of training. 3 The applicant will be required to have a valid Professional Indemnity cover during the period of training. 4  Evidence of proficiency in English language is mandatory.

  • Application Procedure

    Application forms are obtained from the UNES finance offices on payment of a non-refundable application fee of Kshs. 3000/= for Kenyan citizens and US$ 50 or its equivalent for non-Kenyan citizens. The application fees MUST be paid in Cash at any Barclays bank branch a/c no. 030-073-1023948 and the banking slip to be taken to UNES in Gandhi Wing Room G3 for issue of receipt before collection of the application forms. The completed forms accompanied with copies of degree certificates and academic transcripts are submitted to the Board of Postgraduate studies which is located at the main Campus on the ground floor of Gandhi Wing.
