Entry Requirements
An applicant must satisfy any of the following minimum requirements for admission to the Bachelor of Commerce programme. Either; Be a holder of KCSE certificate with at least a mean grade of C+ (Plus) and a C (Plain) in Mathematics and English or its equivalent. • Or Be a holder of two principal passes and a subsidiary pass at A- level. • Or • A Diploma in Business related area from a recognized institution with at least two years working experience after training and a mean grade of C (Plain) in KCSE.

Admission into any certificate Programme at Lukenya University is KCSE grade D(plain) or its equivalents.

Diploma Programmes

Admission into any diploma Programme at Lukenya University is KCSE mean grade of C- (minus) or its equivalents.

Pre-university Programmes

Candidates who do not qualify for a direct entry may be admitted in the first instance into a sixteen weeks bridging programme that is the pre university course, on the following conditions.

  • KCSE mean score of C plain qualifies for a direct admission into a sixteen weeks pre-university programme.

Undergraduate Programmes

  • K.C.S.E mean grade C+ and above or its equivalent;
  • A level with at least two principal passes and one subsidiary;
  • G.P.A of 2.5 and above from Pre University;
