Mean grade of C+ (plus) at KCSE or equivalent and at least C+ (plus) or equivalent in two (2) subjects chosen from the following categories:
Alternative A: Biology, Chemistry, Home Science
Alternative B: Home Science, Biological Sciences, Agriculture or Geography, Physical Science
In addition, the applicant must have obtained grade C (plain) in Mathematics
OR
Mean grade C (plain) at KCSE or equivalent with a Diploma in Community Nutrition or related fields from a recognized institution with at least two (2) years working experience.
