An applicant must have passed the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) or its equivalent with a minimum of grade C+ and similar grades in Mathematics/ Physics, English/ Kiswahili or Kenya Advanced Certificate of Education (KACE) with two Principal passes (one of them in Mathematics) and one Subsidiary pass, or Diploma in Computer Studies/Diploma in Information Technology/Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering from a college or university recognized by GLUK senate.
