What is Study in Kenya?
- Education News
Excellent Question.
In a nutshell, we are about all things Higher Education in Kenya. I am writing this as though I am speaking it to you so for a better read, speak the words out loud (but not too loud to mistaken as one of the Mathare 40)
So here goes.
Every year, thousands of students who sat for KCSE are admitted to Public Universities, even more miss places even though qualified. What alot of these students do not know is that there are alot of options when it comes to accessing higher education. Let me enumerate the options:
1. Public Universities offer self-sponsored programmes, what is also known as Module II or parallel programmes.
2. There are more than 20 Private Universities with a bunch of affordable courses that you can chose from.
3. There are also hundreds Colleges, Schools and TVET Institutions all over the country also offering a variety of courses.
The options are endless.
Kenyans are known for their work ethic and affinity for education. Hardworking Kenyans are enrolling for professional courses and degree courses in their droves every day. Do you remember how crazy, for lack of a better word, it was to get a part-time course that fits your schedule? We hope we are not too late, studyinkenya.co.ke is here for you.
How many times have you gotten a call from someone asking to be referred to an institution that offers a Course in Rocket Science in Kenya and had no idea what to say? Now you do!! studyinkenya.co.ke is the answer.
So here is what we offer.
a) Search and Find courses offered in all of the institutions in Kenya - be it college, university, school, training school etc name it, we will find it for you. See, studyinkenya.co.ke is not your ordinary portal. At studyinkenya.co.ke we do the work for you - search for your preferred course then wait a few nanomicrotinymilliseconds and voila.. we present to you the search results. Easy as that!
b) Get detailed information on your preferred course. I know this happens a lot: You locate your course - its affordable, the institution pristine (dictionary look-up maybe? No need. Just flossing vocabulary. Wrong application of the word) Anyway, where we we? Ah yes, the institution is critically acclaimed - hurray!! Then the nightmare begins: You begin to look for the intake dates, application forms, entry requirements and whether you are eligible for any scholarships, you realize watching paint dry is much more fun! Stick around, we make things easier.
c) Get to know tuition fees required at least for planning purposes.
d) Get access to the institution profiles of these institutions and reviews - short, interesting and relevant.
e) Did I mention the search options? You can use a combination of search options: Course name, Qualification type (Professional, Masters degree, Bachelors degree, Diploma etc), Location, and Mode of Study. OMG How annoying is it to want to pursue a course part time only to find that the course you had identified is only offered full-time? A lot of times you have to start the manual search process afresh. Did someone say headache? Migraine!
f) View similar courses with different names. Institutions sometimes name the same course differently (the term same-difference applies here). A BSc in Studying in Kenya in Institution A could be similar to a Bachelors of Studying in Kenya in Institution J.
I don't know about you but I have the attention span of a gold-fish (approx. 3 seconds) so with that in mind, I will end this shortly. Even now.
In conclusion ladies and gentlemen, with those few remarks, I hereby welcome you to course search 2.0! No need to have an account on studyinkenya.co.ke to access this information. Enjoy.
