Musical Bite

Did you know that David Mathenge is the real name of the musician Nameless? He has not only become famous nationally but also internatonally. He rose to

fame back in 1999 through a star-search contest held by Kenya’s urban music station 98.4 Capital FM, in which he won with his original song “Megarider.”  He

later went on to sign with the Ogopa DJ’s label in 2001 and collaborated with artists with several who broke Kenyan charst records by remaining 110 days at

number one. 

Since then he has won 3 categories in the 2006 Kisima Music Awards, and the Best East African Single category at the 2007 Tanzania Music Awards. Despite

his huge success in music he still is an architect and graduate from the University of Nairobi. This a good example of talent meets brain.
